Medallion: 8 Days, 2 Conventions, 2 StatesDigital Mobile Billboard Campaign · Atlanta + New Orleans

Medallion needed to reach healthcare credentialing and quality leaders at two national conferences held back to back. Mobile Billboard Global ran a full-motion LED truck around the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Two weeks later, the truck was at the front doors of the Hyatt Regency New Orleans Conference Center.

01 / The Challenge

Get seen before the show floor

Convention floors are crowded, booths are expensive, and every exhibitor wants the same attendees. Medallion wanted to reach them before they walked into the hall: on the sidewalk, at the hotel doors, and on the walk back from sessions.

Both conferences ran on tight agendas, with early registration, lunch breaks and evening receptions. The truck had to be at the right entrance at the right minute, in two cities with very different streets.

02 / The Solution

A route built around each venue

  • Full-motion digital LED truck running Medallion creative only, on all screens, for the full run each day
  • Custom routes around each convention venue, its entrances and the attendee hotels
  • Peak windows matched to each conference agenda: arrivals, lunch and session breaks
  • Two creative sets: "during the show" messaging on event days and a "post-show" follow-up on the final day
  • Daily photo proof of performance sent from the street
03 / Market by Market

Two cities, one client

Each convention venue needed its own plan. Atlanta's campus is huge and spread out. New Orleans was all about one front door.

The Georgia World Congress Center is one of the largest convention centers in the country, so a single parking spot would only reach a fraction of attendees. Our truck circled the whole GWCC campus on Andrew Young International Blvd, Northside Dr, Ivan Allen Jr Blvd and Marietta St. On every lap it turned into the Building C drive to pass the attendee entrance.

NAMSS was held in the Hyatt Regency's conference center in the CBD, where attendees mostly stayed and met under one roof. So the strategy was simple: own the front door. The truck was staged at the Hyatt main entrance whenever a legal spot was open. When it had to move, it looped Loyola Ave between Poydras St and Girod St, passing the entrance every time.

04 / How We Ran It

Built around the convention agenda

01

Agenda-Timed Peaks

We built peak windows from each conference schedule, covering arrivals, lunch and session breaks, and planned driver breaks outside them.

02

Venue-Specific Routes

Atlanta got a full campus loop past the attendee hotels. New Orleans got front-door staging with a tight Loyola Ave loop.

03

Creative Rotation

On each show's final morning the trucks switched to post-show creative, so the message followed attendees out the door.

04

Proof of Performance

Daily photos, full-day driver coverage, and a 15-minute back-on-route rule for road closures.
